Ethical decision-making is a process with a guiding framework that is used when difficult situations present themselves. It helps the care team communicate effectively and transparently with family members or surrogates of loved ones who are facing end-of-life situations. Join Mindy Nelkin, D. Bioethics, RD, HEC-C, on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, from 2–3 PM EST, for a webinar that will discuss the framework and guiding principles of ethical decision-making that RDs may face as members of the care team treating patients or clients in end-of-life situations. Mindy's presentation will center around the practical application of clinical bioethics in the health care setting, and she will discuss the role of the RD in ethical decision-making.
