Telehealth, including the use of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) in the virtual environment and distance learning, are vitally important clinical management tools that may foster improved health outcomes for people living with diabetes. In order to be effective, embracing telehealth and CGM use in distance learning requires an understanding of not only the technology but also – and maybe moreso – the barriers across communities. As health care professionals, how can we provide evidence based and equitable care for people with diabetes who have previously been skeptical of physicians, specialists, and other members of the health care team?
Join James Gavin, MD, PhD, and Susan Weiner, MS, RDN, CDCES, FADCES, on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 2-3:30 p.m. ET, for a webinar that will discuss the latest clinical diabetes guidelines and how to translate them into practice across all communities. This dynamic interprofessional duo will educate you on how to incorporate the latest clinical recommendations into practice using an inclusive approach to care. Learning Objectives
